Winslow has had a phenomenal year since we released his debut in February. Whilst the world went into lockdown this artist galvanised himself and made the most out of every situation that presented itself.
We knew we had to get him back to The Fat to lace us with some more Missouri hot sauce flavors and he did not disappoint. This time around he's given us two hefty servings of funk that will get toes tapping and hips gyrating in any setting.
'Mumbles Of Grace' is sleek, minimal, future funk with a super addictive chunky bassline that just oozes soul. Wha wha guitars, harmonic piano keys and plucking orchestral strings give this dish the perfect seasoning. The second drop fills with bright synthwork that energises the soul. Effortless!
'To Walk A Mile' finds us with a moodier, more reflective Winslow. Yet more chunky bass lines but this time they're off set with some melancholy, wonky jazz horns. Serious, soul music from a seriously exciting artist. You'll definitely be back for a second serving.
