New to ‘The Fat’, straight out of Amsterdam, welcome to Auris.
‘Flat Ground’ gives us visions of cycling in the sun. Maybe it's the Amsterdam connection that gives us that imagery but as this track shifts with its pianos, cool pads, electro bleeps, chugging bass-lines, crispy breaks, and breathy FX, we find ourselves in a peaceful state of mind.
Roll up, roll up. Come and try our Auris elixir to enrich the senses. ‘Victorian Boulevard’ leads us in with some electric pads, smooth sax and joyous vocal ‘be bop’. Snappy breaks and bouncing bass-lines follow as Auris builds his layers into an intoxicating blend. Damn!
Auris laced us with two killer cuts that nod to the static, dusty needles of hip-hop whilst still sounding fresh and as if this release wasn’t dope enough already, Goldfat artist Winslow designed the artwork for us. #fatfam
